Alpine/Pioneer, which one?!? Options

i need to get a new deck. my car is red with all black leather interior. i was lookin at the alpine CDA-9851 for about $220 and the pioneer DEH-P7700M for around $190. what can u tell me about either of these decks. also, would the silver face w/ blue glow look wrong on my car? please respond asap

Pioneer are pretty good, reliable cd players. Most teens and younger adults find them fine for the fairly low price you pay. But if you are asking between Alpine and pioneer as long as you can get the money Alpine is the best choice all of the way. The Alpine cd players have amazing clarity so that no matter what you are listening to it's the best sound quality. Alpines come with a Bass Engine that is special only to Alpine and so if you pic up maybe some Type R subs from Alpine you'll recieve a crazy hit from them. Pioneer is a good company but they can barely hold a candle to the quality and power behind an Alpine Unit.
