any1 with a painted airbag?...how you go about doing that?..i dont wanna obstruct any mechanism that will probably take my life!!!...LoLs...any advice will be helpful..
![]() i was at a local mechanic shop and he was doing a turbo install on a eclipse...i was looking at his interior and i saw the steering wheel airbag cover and the passenger airbag cover painted....i was thinking this WILL be my next project on my day off.. -------------------- ![]() |

I would have to agree with Coomer on painting of the cover.
But on a side note, everytime someone gets into a wreck with their 6gc, the airbags go off and the pass side one does nothing except smashes the windshield (causing more $$ in damage). I would like to be able to "turn off" my pass side air bag or just disable it completely. I read something that Coomer wrote a while back about the wiring for the pass airbag being deep into the dash and difficult to get to...is there a way ? I know it is a dangerous thing for no pass side airbag and it's not legal, but, for informational purposes is there a way ??? ![]() -------------------- |
