 Breathers, ILLEGAL? |

Hey
I have put a breather on the celica when I bought my intake I put it on the valve cover where it runs to the throttle body. I was told by a few friends that it is illegal even if it is doing the same thing as a hose. Supposedly it is a 150 dollar fine. Can anybody straighten me out? I was think of just asking a cop I know. |

you can get a fine for "improper equipment"
because its not OEM spec/CARB certified thats how you can get a ticket and unless you get caught racing they normally don't check under the hood and such but you won't pass emissions with a breather cause it will cause you to fail the PCV part or sumthing well at least mine did but i still have my breather on it does 0 for ya though it just looks pretty
