How do u keep urself going? Options

How do u get urself up everyday and keep going to ur job? I work 7:30-5pm M-F and I dont have a horrible job. Im a receptionist at a great civil design firm and make 13 an hour but I go to bed every night dreading the next day and I wake up in the morning mad that I have to go to work. I cant believe I have to look forward to this for the next 40 years. Am i the only one like this? What keeps u guys going? I try talk myself up when I get in the shower or when im getting in my car. I say to myself "Natalie its 8 hours at a sit down job, u have a great job and make good money."

right now, nothing keeps me going but the idea that one day, maybe things will get better. empty dreams it seems, but that's all there is.

my pride keeps me going. while i see myself as generally worthless, and at this point, a failure pertaining to where i am at this point in my life, i know that i'm capable of doing better. i also know that in time, i will get there. that's what keeps me going.

also, lizzie. my dog. when i'm feeling down, or stressed, i just look at her. it's like looking at my child. she makes me smile. if i'm hurting, i can hold her. no matter what i do during the day, no matter how much i fail, no matter how much i fall short, at the end of the day, she beats her tail against the floor upon sight of me. that keeps me going. nothing beats the unconditional love that you get from a pet.
