Okay, so the front struts are removed, and you're supposed to unscrew it apart right? I cannot get that mother to budge. Lots of PB blaster, a big wrench, and a vise, and it won't go. Anyone got some tips?

He's talking about the front strut itself, the ring part that unscrews so you can remove the shock part and insert the cartridge.
I had the same problems, PB blaster is pretty worthless. You need a large plumbers wrench, I got my neighbors big red one that was about 3 ft long. You just need for twist that thing off, make sure you hit it a couple times to release tension, and then go for it. |
