Just kind of odd how things work. A few months ago when I was in training Dateline came in and filmed a bunch of stuff for tonights episode. Well, I forgot all about it. It's freaky b/c I got sent home from work b/c I was sick and they don't want everyone else getting sick.
So, I'm flipping through all the channels and on NBC I see what I think is the place I work...so I go back, and it is. They're talking about the Lyn Turner case. I've never met her, and she never worked in the same building as I do now, but I do work with people that did. Nobody really talks about it, and it's not my place to bring it up, so I just let it be. I found it funny that they spent about a full day in the 911 center and the only thing they aired was a picture of a phone console and one of the few people w/a deep southern draw saying "Cobb County 911"... Don't know, kind of odd seeing the place I work, the precinct my dad works at, and a lot of the people talk to everyday on the radio on national tv... BTW, if you saw it, they made us out to look very bad. |
