So I am off to college on June 13th. I am getting my college account money- around 15,000 dollars. My schooling only costs 14,000. This, through simple math leaves 1,000 in my pocket. Also about 1,500+ in scholarships, so we will say I have 2,000 to put into my Celi... What are your thoughts on how I should go about spending/useing this?

I had and extra 3k when I started college from selling all my extra cars (3). I went broke pretty quick. It's surprising how much it costs to live. Save that money. Take all your hopes and dreams of fixing up the car and put them into storage untill you get out of college. This is what I'm still having trouble doing (It's my junior year now). Celica is a good car to get you back and forth to class and that it is, that's how you have to look at it.
