Okay, so the front struts are removed, and you're supposed to unscrew it apart right? I cannot get that mother to budge. Lots of PB blaster, a big wrench, and a vise, and it won't go. Anyone got some tips?

WRONG!
RYAN, I told you already. KYB struts are gas charged struts. You need to put light weight OIL in the strut housing and side the new gas strut back in. This oil is for improving heat transfer... Ive done this multiple times on toyota's. Here is the how-to for mr2's...the main difference is mr2's use replacable cartridges all around...Celica's only have them on the front http://www.turbomr2.com/MR2/HowTo/Suspensi...ringStrut-1.HTM This post has been edited by bufferdan: May 21, 2005 - 12:24 PM -------------------- ![]() |
