I'm not sure were to put this topic, so I put it in general. If it belongs somewere else, I'm sorry.
My gas door won't open. The cable must have streched to the point that it's not opening it. I have the lever opening system in case that's not common. It's been getting worse, but I never took the time to fix it. I haven't looked at it real hard yet, I just figured I'd ask everyone to see if there was any idea's before I tore into it. Anyone else have this problem? This post has been edited by Bigmeanbulldog55: May 21, 2005 - 12:39 PM -------------------- Live Free, Be Happy

Well, I broke off the door. I thought that if I could pull the handle up as far as it would go, then pry on the door a little bit it would open. After it opened I could file down the lach a little bit so the door would open easy. Well, as soon as I pryed a little the door just fell off. I guess the bottem ringe had already rusted off, and I just broke the top. These things are really rusted. Aside from me being a retard, this gives me the opertunity to upgrade to an after market gas door. Something I don't really care about, but what the heck. Anyone recommend any?
