is there a difference between GT and ST front spindle and hub?? i'm converting brakes from ST to GT. i bought cross drilled and slotted rotors but they wouldn't fit. i'm guessing i have to replace the backplate. but does anyone think i have to get new spindle and hub too??
thanx alex |
yea GT works on the front just need to replace the whole assembly and there should only be backing plates on the rear for the e-brake the front only has, caliper, disk, pads, bracket
The front has backing plates also. Why wouldn't they? Backing plates have nothing to do with the e-brake, they're mostly a dust cover. You also don't need the "whole assembly". You need the calipers with brackets, and rotors. That's it. Yet another example of you not knowing what you're talking about... ![]()
i said exactly that just wat you call a backing plate i call a dust cover and you don't have to have a dust cover either as in "whole assembly" i was refering to wat i stated "caliper, mounting bracket, pads, rotor" those are the necessities of changing st-gt so i DO know what i'm talking about stfu This post has been edited by playr158: May 22, 2005 - 12:18 AM |
