Could anyone with air bags or knowledge about these tell me the pros and cons from using bags?
Do you have to refill the air tank from time to time or does that in some magical kind of way refill itself or something? How does a car on bags handle versus stock or coils, regular springs etc? How much weight can you put in the car and still be able to raise/lower the car on the fly? How hard is the install? Any useful info you think I should know before getting bags. Thanks in advance! -------------------- ![]() |

Here are some things you need to think about:
Bags are for show, NOT performance. If you're looking for any kind of performance then go with a nice spring/strut combo. Most bag systems come with a small compressor. That's your "magic" way of filling the tank back up. The install isn't too hard... about the same as installing springs/struts except you need to run some hoses and wiring. -Doc -------------------- -Dr Tweak, 6GC's resident engine swap wiring expert extraordinaire Click here to see my swaps drtweak@phoenixtuning.com |

It might be a problem with the government, but I'll work something out. Thanks for your reply Raven ![]() Any special brands or models to look out for? Anything better or worse than everyone else? I guess you can raise or lower the car as much as you want (use common sense of course), or do you either raise it, or lower it? Like, is it either raised or lowered, or can you have like 10 settings between to choose from? 2 inch drop, 1.75 inch drop, 1.5 inch drop...? -------------------- ![]() |
