Im plannin on painting the center console, vents, speaker covers and the trim on the door where the window switches are. I went to a local shop called performance improvements n they have "Interior paint - Perfect for carpet, plastics and every thing else", but the thing is they want $22 a can

How durable is doing this? I would like to do it but don’t want to do it now then 3 months down the road have to do it again. It sounds simple enough if you just take your time. How long has this lasted for someone who has actually done it?
