Hard Steering, steering hard compared to my corolla Options

Is our celica's steering supose to be harder than ordinary cars or am i having a power steering pump problem?

I find the steering is much much harder in my celica than in my corolla.

Fluids are within acceptable levels and i have no belt squeek. Should i flush and fill?

any help would be apreciated

yea the celica has more stiff steering.

I remember reading a reviews about the celica when it first introduced. The reviewers mentioned the steering ratio was small and a flick of the wrist is enough to make a turn.

i think it a number of things that makes the steering more tough. it's a combination of steering gear ratio and fat tires.
