this is what i'm looking at right now as a good idea for a boost controller instead of an EBC any opinions on this i'm thinking stage 1 would be set to about 6 psi and stage 2 would be set to about 12psi |

Eh, save the money for that MBC.
Either get an EBC or a normal MBC. You generally don't need to switch on the fly - and I like my MBC a lot more than the old profec. -------------------- If anyone needs interior stuff, etc, I'm parting whats left of my celi out. Just ask.
