Never let your friends distract you when driving on freeway onramps. I just got home from wrecking my '88 Celica on the freeway on the way home from an overnight trip to Tri Cities. The diagram below explains what happened.
![]() The car body damage isn't so bad because I was going to repaint it again anyway, but two of the rims are very scratched and they were such nice looking rims. At least I had them on the car though...had I had my 13s with my 70-series tires on the car may have rolled...it felt like it was very close to rolling. And thankfully my friend and I are both perfectly fine. We laughed it off and made it home fine. Thats not that bad at all, (sept the skirt that sux) but still as long as you and your friend are ok, its not that bad, could have been far wose, and like you said its the beater, not the yeli.. and I bet you coudl buff thoes rims out and almost make the scrathes disapear
