there has been a lot of speculation about the apple announcement to move to intel processors and this article was a really interesting read

just wanna know what everyone thinks - i personnally can't wait to have a dual boot OSX / windows machine - i just hope apple takes into consideration amd sooner or later

actually read an article based on some study the other day - 16% of computers are apple - the 2% figure everyone goes by are sales figures not actual figures of how many users have apples

I'll argue with that along with most of the experts in the industry and I'll bring stacks of third party benchmarks and test that prove amd outperforms intel in almost every aspect - it's why a lot of people are scratching their heads right now trying to figure out why apple choose intel and not amd

answer - it's not about performance - it's about business and putting a hurt on microsoft - i just hope that apple doesn't help intel put a better, cheaper amd out of business and they come out with support for amd chips too
