Is our celica's steering supose to be harder than ordinary cars or am i having a power steering pump problem?

I find the steering is much much harder in my celica than in my corolla.

Fluids are within acceptable levels and i have no belt squeek. Should i flush and fill?

any help would be apreciated wink.gif

Thanks

My Celi has hard steering also and it needs a big circle to turn. But handles superb. I was suicidal one day (not literally) so I was doing 70- 80 on the twisties by where I live in P.R. while it was raining. Let me tell you, I was surprised by how the Nitto Extremes behaved. I only lost a bit of control turning a hard left after a hard right while boosting...but the tires never lost traction. I love how the Celica handles. smile.gif
