im planning on buying 17x8s 35 offset rims with 225-45 tires. i know tte has this setup and it fits on his car, but im wondering if it would fit on a car that has sportline 1.5in springs? anyone got a similar setup ?

I have wondered the same thing and did a search in the members ride section. The two guys on here that I know are running 225/45/17 are Mina and another guy with a black car...I think his name is something like transx... or something. As I recall, they are both on stock suspension but report no rubbing. Also, Coomer has posted a picture of a white car with 8" wide wheels with 35 offset where the owner reports no rubbing with either the fender or suspension. If thats true, your only question is going to be the drop. If you get that size tire, let me know your results.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.
