this is what i'm looking at right now as a good idea for a boost controller instead of an EBC any opinions on this i'm thinking stage 1 would be set to about 6 psi and stage 2 would be set to about 12psi |

What are you talking about, my brother? It is a JOKE to setup. Seriously...whoever thinks it is hard should not even be allowed in a turbo car, LOL. The GAIN is like the boost response...for each engine, it is different..and it changes with the type of turbo...so you have to play with it, you know. The SET is the boost pressure above your minimum wastegate spring...so if you have a 9 PSI spring, 50 would be 14 PSI. Then you have LIMITER, which lowers the boost to what you choose if you hit the WARNING boost level. I have read so many complaints about it being hard to setup and whatever. Yeah, OK...I installed it, set the GAIN to 25...if you set it too high, it'll creep and if you set it too low, it doesn't spool up as fast. Then, I put the SET to 40 and I was done...hitting 8 PSI...because my Tial spring is 4 PSI. -------------------- |
