Is our celica's steering supose to be harder than ordinary cars or am i having a power steering pump problem?
I find the steering is much much harder in my celica than in my corolla. Fluids are within acceptable levels and i have no belt squeek. Should i flush and fill? any help would be apreciated ![]() Thanks -------------------- ----------------------6GC's FIRST V6----------------------

I think it laso has a lot to do with the rally car heritage, the Celica is a little more than 2 turns lock to lock, I don't know what the GT-Four is but the Evo is 2 turns lock to lock where as the other Lancers ES/LS/OZ/RalliArt are 2 3/4. It is suppose to give better control for precise steering since there is a lot of sliding and cornering involved.
Also I don't know if the Corolla has this but the Celica has speed sensitive steering, the faster you go the harder it is to turn the wheel. This post has been edited by darksecret: Jun 17, 2005 - 8:55 AM |
