Ok so I've been reading some random things online and some of it bugs me. Even the game review writers are being ignorant about some of the facts and histories of games.
I hope you all know that Need for Speed Underground wasn't the first Need for Speed right? It's actually like the 7th, and the origin of the series was to make a fairly realistic game rather than an arcade-style one. And that the 3 PS2 Grand Theft Auto games were each based off of a city in the original GTA? all pretty trivial stuff but it just bugs me that people don't know some of this stuff ![]() -------------------- 1999 Celica GT

QUOTE(FAQdaWorld @ Jun 16, 2005 - 11:17 PM) I think that gaming is becoming too much of a pop culture thing now. All the most recent games I've played lately SUCK. That includes Halo 2, Half Life 2, Doom, etc. The only game i've enjoyed of late was gta: sa. I'm getting tired of playing some of the same things over and over again, at least rockstar continually mixes it up now and then. video games have always been pop culture. and the GTA series is the same thing, just bigger each game. -------------------- |
