Say i could go to a couple junkyards and find the parts needed for this swap. What parts would i need exactly? How hard would it be to do? Is the braking noticably much better with discs then with rotors? sorry im kinda newb and im sure this has been stated somewhere before but i can't find it.
Thanks for the help! |

I did it, and swaped for performance rotors and pads also. The difference is night and day with the upgrades I made.
Basically, you need the entire rear assembly off of a disk brake celica (5th or 6th gen. Both the same for the most part.) You also need the E-brake lines and the actual brake lines. And that's all. Oh, and it's a difference between disks and 'drums.' Rotors are the things that spin on a disk brake assembly. This post has been edited by FallenHero: Jun 19, 2005 - 11:20 PM |
