I own a 94 GT, body type ST204. I am interested in putting in a 3SGTE. I'm doing research, and I would love for anyone and everyone to give me any advice on which model 3SGTE would be compatible with my car and what I would need to do to complete the swap.

IRQ calm the **** down... you don't know who you are talking to, we praise this guy.... (me too someday) LOL -> and for your engine swap, anyone of the 3sgte (excluding st165-gen I) would work, your lucky that you have GT, since it's direct swap - using stock mounts and stock trans... trans you can upgrade later with MR-2 (cable 5-speed trans), but don't have to... -You are going to get a front mount intercooler for engine to last (unless you get GT-4, or custom hood, cause of the scoop).... -You also have to get the ECU either new one of reprogram your old one..... --- the best way / easiest way is to get the FRONT end clip of a GT-4 Celi, reason why because with that you are making sure that you won't be missing any parts.... hope this helps you, and have some respect for SENIOR Celi owners around here, LOL |
