 Oil Change Schedule US vs Canada |

I know this may be a dumb fact, but Toyota Us recommends oil and filter service every 3000 miles (4825 km), whereas Toyota Canada recommends every 6000 Km equivalent to 3725 miles. Wonder why Toyota Canada didn't shorten the interval to 5000 km? I know pretty pointless topic, guess in normal city driving it doesn't hurt to go nearly 4000 miles between oil changes.

The recomendation to change your oil and filter every 3000mi has been around for a long time. I would think that the engines that we have could take more miles before we do a change. I try to change my oil every 3000mi, but I don't always have the time to do it on that 3000 mark. I don't think that it's that big of a deal if your at 3500mi before you get your oil changed.
