Why is it that the time it takes for the engine to actually turn over (start) differs for each car? I'm sure there's probably a word for it; what I'm trying to describe is each attempt the starter makes at cranking the engine.
Most new cars start instantly (perhaps one try of the starter), and even some older honda's I've seen also seem to start on the first time. However, I can hear my celica starter go twice or three times before the engine starts. Is this what the rest of you get too? What is it a function of? hmmm, i'm not the best to answer this question but my 95 st starts instantly.
-------------------- owner off a 95 celica st... hoping overtime to be 1 kick ass machine =).
Upgrades (comming soon)- 3sgte engine swap - small engine tweaks here and there - new paintjob (black w/ overlay of blue pearl) possible future upgrades- gt4 hood/bumper - upgrade the 3sgte turbo. |
