Ok guys for my bday I got a Optima Yellow top among other things for my car... but I rolled my ankle and didn't drive it for 6 days and the battery was dead... nothing was on.... same thing happened again today.. any ideas?

yes, don't buy an alternator until you are 100% sure it is the alternator malfunctioning (unless of course your in the market for a High ouput alternator) and the 94-97 corolla's engine is a 4AFE
 From what you told us it sounds like you are losing power constantly when the car is off. If the engine is not running the only problem you can have with the alternator is if it's shorting out, completing the circuit and discharging your battery. Usualy when this happens something goes *pow* Before buying anything, make sure you know exactly what the problem is.
