 Auto Vs. Stick |

How sluggish is the Automatic tranny when compared to the stick???? Any issues with the auto?? I'm a manual tranny guy by heart and won't flinch at changing a clutch, but when it comes to the slushbox, that's uncharted territory. Plus sticks are more fun to drive.

Well, I may end up in an auto after all. I found what could turn out to be a screaming deal on a 96 GT with 44K miles for $5500, listed aparrently 2 days ago but didn't pop up until today.
Has anyone ever done an auto to stick swap?? How much of an ordeal is that to do?? Actually, come to think of it, would a 7Gen six speed drop into and mate up with a 5S-FE????? That would REALLY help out that highway gearing. -------------------- |
