 Fiberglass Hood -v.s.- CF Hood |

OK, so I was telling one of my co-workers about how I wanted to get a CF Hood for the weight reduction benefits, not for the look. He suggested that I check into getting a fiberglass hood, instead, since they are much cheaper. So my questions are: Do they even make these for our cars? What's the difference between carbon fiber and fiberglass? Any input would be appreciated.

yes, i have...
have to because my classes mention how to build planes, but for now we're doing buildings. Anyways, guy who started this...buy my CF stuff, it's a weight saver(FG w/ CF overlay) and is as cheap as anything else out there  .
