What information is needed by the ECU to decide when to shift?
So far I assume that these are definitely needed: Throttle Position Signal Tach signal Speed Sensor coolant temperature (for limiting rpm while engine is cold) Can anyone think of anything else that would be needed by the ECU to operate the transmission. --------------------  Project ST204.5 99.88946% complete... |

Well I'll be mating a 3SGTE to an auto transmission and I was hoping to let the stock 5SFE ECU control the transmission. The paddle shift idea would be cool if it didn't take so long for the transmission to change gears when the next gear was selected.
