The reason I ask is because my friend was thinking of converting his Celi to RWD.

Sounds like he has the key req. for the task. best of luck if he tries it. anyway I think that the gt and gt-4 have the same chassy just somewhat diff, (drive shaft holes and some mounts) I dont think that it would be to hard, but AWD is (in my opinion) far better and probibly much easyer to convert too.
