Hey guys, i know that some of you guys out there have aftermarket audio systems and i was wondering where you guys ran the power cable for the amp...i've pulled up the passenger side carpet by the ecu area (usually a good place to find somewhere) and have been looking for a few minutes and didn't really find any stock grommets through which i could run a power cable...
where have you guys ran your power wire? any help is appreciated. i'd prefer not to drill a hole and install a grommet if i didn't need to. peace |

QUOTE(Niskyspy @ Jun 29, 2005 - 2:10 PM) Hey, u should make all this under the fender installation as a how to. Because I think a lot of people might want to do it this way. I agree admins if you have a good spot for this information plz add it ![]() QUOTE(Niskyspy @ Jun 30, 2005 - 12:15 AM) QUOTE(Kadett @ Jun 29, 2005 - 1:42 PM) I had a rubber seal in the Firewall on the passenger side, just punched the rubber and directed my Amp cable through that. Then i went through the middle console for the Amp cable. The signal cable on the left in the middle console Amp on the right. Both speakercable in the sides of the car. It doesnt look clean this way because the battery is located on drivers side and power wire needs to go all the way around the car. If u do it under the fender the wire is hidden right from the battery. clean is good ![]() This post has been edited by K-ESD: Jul 3, 2005 - 3:24 PM -------------------- ----------------------6GC's FIRST V6----------------------
