Just wondering if anyone has tried this. It seems that they are much cheaper in the states than here but I'm just wondering if its worth the hassle. Also, do you have to pay some sort of duty or something if its bought privatly? Thanks,

ss

I'm from Edmonton, AB.
I found a post at http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=20561 , but I was just wondering if anyone had any actual experience with it and knows for sure what I have to pay in terms of duty. Because if I have to pay taxes or something, couldn't I just get the seller to say I bought it for like $20?

If the amount is unreasonable, then they tax you for the blue book value of the car from what I understood.
