ok, engine swaps. everyone talks about wiring and how its difficult to do to some engines or whatever. im getting a 4a-gze. i dont know much about mechanics, someone is doing the swap for me but im just curious as to what all this means. im guessing the wiring from the ecu to the engine and stuff. now, does the front clipd of these swaps come with the ecu and engine, etc. so its all connected already. so whats the confusion and whats the need of the wiring diagrams if everything came connected in the first place... this may be a dumb question.

your theory would be correct if the motor you bought came from a 94 st celica like u currenty own. then it would just be a matter of plugging stuff in and driving away. if you are buying a 4agze, then you have to find out how that harness interfacese with the rest of your car and rewire it to work correctly
