I am debating whether or not to drop my car. I am planning to get 18's and I do want to drop it. However, I don't like rubbing cause when I had my Expedition with the 22's on it, it rubbed like crazy and I had to pay a lot for it to be fixed. Anyways, has anyone experienced coilovers bought from Ebay? I do want coilovers because I like the choice between how much it should drop and to be able to change it instead of bagging the car. Maybe I'm wrong? But if I do it do I need to buy anything else? Like new struts? And what size tires would be best with no rubbing, at a decent drop of an inch (maybe). Advice please.

I'm new to the Celica forum but I have been dealing with lots of other cars, Well if your really going for looks and ready to dodge for speed bumps it's one way to make your ride low. But in the other hand if your looking for speed I wouldn't put on a 18" rim on in the first place. Well if your looking to go in a cheap way of lowering the car buying front / rear shocks with lowering springs will cost you less but the power to control your ride's height is a whole diffrent feeling. If your looking to keep your lovely ride go with TEIN coil overs it's much better then some E bay stuff. Yes it does cost much more then the E bay price but to me it seems worth it.
