I have a 400W Rockford Fosgate amp and from time to time it will get extremely hot. I have the amp mounted on the back of my box and when the back seats are up there isn't much ventilation area. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to keep the amp a little cooler when the back seats are up.

Hmm... or I could mount it on the engine block in front of the cooling fans!
![]() I would mount it under the seat, but I have people in the back sometimes and I don't want it getting stepped on. And how would I put a computer fan in my amp? Wouldn't that require cutting? |
