I have a 400W Rockford Fosgate amp and from time to time it will get extremely hot. I have the amp mounted on the back of my box and when the back seats are up there isn't much ventilation area. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to keep the amp a little cooler when the back seats are up.

I had two amps, one i mounted on the floor cuz it was too big to fit on the box and the other I put on an angle so that there was air on the top and i never had a problem. Also, there are small fans that you dont necessarily have to put inside your amp, but just in your trunk. You can just wire it to your battery and put in a switch on your console.
