smile.gif Hi, all! I am experiencing a problem when chaging a particular plug on my 5s-fe... Ok, when we stand in front of the engine bay facing the engine its the plug on my outer most right... yeah the one nearest the distributer... I have problems getting it out with the regular size of the tool that was used on the rest of the 3 plugs.. What would be the problem??

Hope, someone would be a ble to enlighten me on this problem... & how to remove it of cos.

Thanks!! smile.gif

I'm assuming your using a spark plug socket? Try to get a light in there and see if you stripped it.

Hi thanks for the reply. I got a light in wat i saw was like a reall shallow worn out plus as if it has never been changed out b4... surrounding the plug seems like there is a rubbery outer rim on it. I wonder whether if the plug was there ever since the car was born???

the rubbery outer rim you are talking about is probably part of the spark plug wire! get some long needl nose pliers and get it out of there and then you should not have any problems with the plug. oh and the spark plug socket is a 5/8
