In inspiration from a couple other threads I've read lately, post up what is wrong with your car.
Mine: 1. Clearcoat flaking off roof, spoiler, and mirrors; paint fading underneath 2. Needs a timing belt within the next 500 miles or so but I'll probably wait 3. Funny sound from front left, suspect CV troubles but might just be somethin stuck in it 4. AC compressor dying, still works but whines like a supercharger lol 5. Car smells like ass from previous owner, re-upholstery and carpeting planned 6. Throttle cable has a lot of slack, but I can't get one shipped to this tiny town within the next month Otherwise the car is in pretty good shape for being 11 years old and having 122,000 miles. Very little rust, not much for dents or anything and is mostly just dirty in ways you cannot comprehend bc of the idiot previous owner. -------------------- 1999 Celica GT

just turned my odometer over 100,000 this AM - and I can honestly say - there is nothing wrong with this car!
I totalled my 91 Celica at 86,000 and there was nothing wrong with that either - well until the head-on collision ![]() When I sold my 97 Celica it had 76,000 miles, and that never had more than a windshield washer pump replaced. these cars rule! Oh and by the way - mine might be for sale shortly - have a good chance of buying a 98 Porsche C4S This post has been edited by CJOHNST3: Jul 14, 2005 - 3:32 PM |
