I have a ST at the moment, is it possible to transer the brakeclaw and disc from a GT on a ST? Bigger brakes are always better.
Or what do i have to modify to make it work This post has been edited by Fietsbel: Jul 18, 2005 - 4:25 AM -------------------- |

To swap the calipers -- GT or GT4 -- you'd need the brackets they sit on and with the GT4, you'd also need the backing plate that holds the bracket.

Don't need the backing plate. On the front, those are more or less a dust cover. You don't even really need to run them if you don't want to. As for the GT4 calipers, the caliper bracket spacing is the same between the two calipers (ST/GT vs GT4), but the actual knuckles are totally different, the GT4 having super struts, extendes the knuckle out father to clear the rotors, while the GT/ST doesn't. Consider this, between the 03+Civic SI and the Acura RSX-S, the RSX has something like 12 inch diameter rotors while the Civic has 10.5 inches or so. They however share the same caliper, the difference between the two are the spindles and knuckles, which extend farther on the RSX-S than the Civic SI. -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl...
