I did a lot of research, and I really like the 6gen. Reliable, sporty, fairly easy to play with.... I want a car that isn't going to need lots of engine work (which I can't do), and is a 5spd. I don't mind if it needs work, it just can't be too intense. Of course I'd love a GT, but I probably won't race it or anything, so its not a major concern.
I've got $5,000 to do everything that needs to be done (car, repairs, tax, title, license). If you were me, what would you be looking for? How much 'car' can I get for the money I've got? Does anyone know of anything that might be good? Thanks in advance... |

dont worry about everything else coomer said its way over your head, and from my rough figures way out of your price range too... 5,000 for all that coomer?... thats a long time of junkyard shopping if its going to be reliable, you of all people should know that lol
ya, just get whatever you find in your price range that is available and in good shape (dont bother SOO much with looks, just make sure it runs strong) also try to stay away from cars even with light mods if at all possible, usually something even lightly modded means it was more than lightly thrashed on... back in 2001 i bought my Celica ST with 54,000 miles on it and all it had was a greddy exhaust... within 15,000 miles i had to have the trans rebuilt and a new clutch as well as had the bottom end of the motor rebuilt... its all about who has the car before you. -------------------- ![]() Believer, you'll leave her, in leaving them all No but I don't buy it Like anything you do, as anyone you are Cause I'm...
