OK I remebered somebody saying that we need a sticker for the site that we can put on our cars. Well I have an Idea. Ok it would be an outline of our cars with 6GC.net inside it. I know that I have seen an outline of our cars some where on the internet. So if anybody has one or knows where to get it let me know and I will see about making one to show everybody. But for now you all will just have to use your imaginations. On the size of it, it would be as long as the Celica.net sticker so that we could put it over it or next to it.

Actually, registering another domain will not reduce traffic. As a matter of fact, it might be even better having more options for people to hit this site instead of 6gc.net. If you're really serious about this site, then I would recommend registering more domains that point to this. Search engines don't care about the domain name. Search engines will *spider* a site looking for keywords to index. This is why it's important to have meta tags, meta descriptions, etc. Search engine indexes are primarily based off of META words. If you really want to increase traffic, I would also recommend registering 6gc.com. Most people will use "com" instead of "net". Other domains that you can register are 6thgencelica.com/net sixthgencelica.com/net sixgencelica.com/net (These are all unregistered by the way. I just did a *whois* on all 6 as well as 6gc.com) Don't spread yourself too thin. It really wouldn't hurt to register more domains and simply have them *redirect* or *point* to 6gc.net. This will give people more ways of finding the site. Since domains are cheap to register nowadays ($8 at godaddy.com), maybe you can start taking donations to help register the other domains. That's only $48 to register 6 domains. You web hosting company may also charge a small fee to alias the domains to 6gc.net, but if you don't want to pay for that, I'm sure the registrar will allow you to redirect the domains to 6gc.net (15 dollar domains allows this). One last thing, if you want to improve placement, the only real way of doing that, as opposed to waiting months to be reindexed to the top, is to pay. I know that most people don't want to pay $50+ just to be placed at the top, but it's the most reliable way of getting there. Hope this helps. -Ray |
