are they bigger than ST front disc brakes? if so, by how much. would i just need to get the caliper off the GT or what? would it be worth it to upgrade?

sorry about that. on one post in there they say you have to swap the caliper and rotor, but in another one they say just the caliper and bracket it is mounted on. what parts must come from the GT to do the swap?
