[B][I]WHY DO JDM HIGHS AND LOWS NOT MEET D.O.T SAFTY REGULATIONS? ACCORDING TO JEFF AT TOYOTA WORLD WHO I GOT MINE FROM, THE ONLY REASON THEY ARE ILLEAGAL IS THAT THEY DO NOT MEET D.O.T STANDARDS AND ARE MEANT FOR OFF ROAD OR SHOW USE ONLY. Y IS THAT?

I heard from a friend that its not only the left side flare but also the glass projector headlights are illegal as well because if you were to get into an accident the chance of glass flying can be dangerous. But the stock headlights are glass. But he said thats why most headlights now are plastic. I don't know. It doesn't matter cuz i got em and i love em.
