HEEEY everybody! im currently in a state of dispair. im stuck in atlanta GA. i was getting ready to drop my friend off and i notice that my headlights are flickering when i put the turn signal on. im curious so i turn on the hi beams and the power to the whole car completely shuts off while in motion! i look under the hood and i notice that the battery isnt secure and has fallen to the side and is leaning against the transmission dipstick. i managed to get the car started but after i turned it off it would not start again. got a new battery and no power is going through the car, no door lights or anything. it cant be the alternator b/c there is not power when the car is still (imo) i checked the fuses but i havent seen any blown one.

can anyone tell me whats wrong? Please help! i would like to get to charlotte tomorrow without calling a tow truck and spending too much$$$

You want power but have no money. That's a problem.

Cheap. Reliable. Fast. Pick two.

check your fuses again.
i had the same problem with my celica.
the is a fuse in the engine compartment, ALT100, that might be blown.
check it.
