I'm just wondering... on a 98 Celica GT/GT-S is the spare tire supposed to pop up a bit? like, the trunk floor carpet isn't flat, you can see where the spare tire is because the carpet is bulging out a bit and makes the shape of a tire

Maybe its because some spare tires are true size tires with the same width as the normal tire (205 )
And some have a small spare tire. Exact tranlation would call it a drive home tire. -------------------- JDM Powerplant installed, BPU coming very soon!

There is no way to fit full size spare and have it flat there. Unless one lifts up whole trunk floor by 15 cm. ![]() -------------------- '94 ST202 - tuned, highly apprieciated, but sold.
