cars been down for 8 months , getting it back together and i am having a problem decideing what turbo to run , motor is 5sfe with ross 8.5:1 pistons , cryo treated 5s rods with arp bolts , extensive porting and polished 5s head { cant afford 3s head or i would} 2.5 full exhaust , , want a turbo that will make plenty of power but not be laggy on the street , doesnt matter if its bolt on ,,making manifold anyways , lets hear your suggestions

I would recommend at least a .63 A/R if you went with a 46 trim in a 2.2. The .63 trim spools at 3100 in a 2.0 liter so it would be even better in 2.2. I prefer a turbo that is water cooled for longevity. I also like the dual BB setup for all the abuse the thrust bearing takes. My recommendation for you would be the GT3071R with the .63 A/R. Its more expensive, but it rocks.
BTW, you can get a used 3SGTE head (with everything ready to go) for about $600.
