i'm geting tired of my car alarm going off all the time, people around my neighborhood constantly have loud subwoofers and loud exhausts. So, i'm thinking about getting rid of the shock sensor completely and replaceing it with a glass break sensor.
anyone know how well these things work? Would i still have false alarms? |

I have a DEI glass breakage sensor, and I'm not too happy with it. When we were testing it and trying to set it to the right sensitivity, I was able to set it off by screaming at the top of my lungs.
Also, my piezo sirens seem to set it off when my alarm chirps six times for my car locator function. I think I may just need to tune down the sensitivity. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
