I got a quote to do custom piping for my car. it was from the exhaust manifold to the muffler w/ 2.25" piping and a resonator. the quote was about $600. does that seem right or is that a bad price, because i've seen complete cat back systems for like $500.

No they cant give you a catless system unless you pay cash, if you get my drift.
Also, a mandrel bender is very expensive. You can buy a crush bent pretty cheap, but then you have small bends so its a small exhaust. A 3'' mandrel bender is about $100,000. -------------------- |
