From what I heard is that you need to use some kind of race fuel to keep your car bumpin for awhile or you can use premium gas and have it run like **** and die sooner. I never knew that until I talked to a few people. Think it should be posted with the swap info?

It is...when you see that they have 101 octane over there, that's a research octane number... Here we have the R+M/2 method for octane... motor octane is always lower and tends to vary about 10 points from research octane (so 101 RON = 91 MON = 96 R+M/2) Not always accurate but it's just a general rule of thumb.. 93 Octane in the states is perfectly fine for a JDM engine... Keep in mind they do have lower octane fuel over there as well. That 101 RON stuff is expensive and a lot of people don't use it.
