has anyone cut out the factory grills in the door to place aftermarket grills. if you have a pic id love to see it. i still have the grills for my speakers and i want to put them in, i just want to make sure they would fit flush with the door. thanks

I have just installed 8" speakers in front door and wanted to have nice "Infinity" grilles put there as well. Unfortunately 8" grilles are too big to be installed - but 6 3/4" will fit nicely. As I have examined the factory grille, it should be fairly easy: cut out the middle piece of grille (leave the edge in place) and screw the grille on (to the edge that you have left) with screws typically supplied with speakers (ones that have quite thin core and quite wide blade).
